Our story
Pausework Editorial began with a simple frustration: the most important guidance, on mindfulness and on accessible living, was either clinical and cold or loud and thin. We wanted a third thing.
We are a small, independent editorial team publishing evidence-based mindfulness practices and accessible-living guidance for U.S. professionals. Some days that means a short walkthrough of a thirty-second breathing practice. Other days it means a patient, careful explanation of how to apply for a disability ID card. We treat both with the same respect, because both matter to the people who read us.
The voice here is reassuring and practical, never hype-driven. We write the answer first. We use plain language. We keep a single, comfortable reading column so nothing fights for your attention. And we hold every page to accessibility standards, because for our audience that is not a nice-to-have, it is the whole point.
